With the outbreak of this uninvited pandemic and the upsurge of the number of active cases, the requirement of masks has become a mandatory measure to avoid further spread as a part of the COVID 19 Protocol. So to segregate people wearing masks from those not wearing them, we can ensure the safety of a particular place. We have tried addressing this issue by making an amalgamation of technology with the dire needs of common people at present. Be it in any sector, including wellness, entertainment, and so on, wearing masks is mandatory. Our project includes a deep learning approach. This feature was built using Keras Applications. MobileNet model was generated to detect masks which is accurate enough. To make the checking process hassle-free, this feature can be installed in the entrance and along with the CCTV camera as it will help in tracking people, and they can be immediately notified if they tend to take the measures in a carefree way. It will just be a step ahead in helping prevent this pandemic from spreading further and unnecessarily due to lack of attention towards maintaining one of the most important COVID protocols.
